Sree Karpagambal Mills Limited is an ISO 9001 certified Spinning
and Weaving Mill. It was established in the year 1956 and has
been continuously modernized. The total turnover of the company
is around US$ 20 Million.
The Spinning division with a capacity of about 40000
Ring Spinning Spindles, 500 open end rotors and 15 Two-for-One
twisters (TFOs) produces about 18000 kg of yarn per day.
The Weaving division with a capacity of about 200 looms
produces about 30000 meters of fabrics per day.
The Raw Material is sourced from:
Raw Cotton: CIS, Egypt, India, USA,
West Africa
Polyster Staple Fiber: India, Taiwan
The Company markets YARNS such as Cotton
yarns, Poly / Cotton yarns, Polyester Spun yarn for weaving,
knitting & sewing threads and FABRICS for apparels and
industrial applications to top notch customers in India and
in overseas markets such as AUSTRALIA, COLOMBIA, EGYPT, GREECE,
ITALY, MALAYSIA, SPAIN, THAILAND, TURKEY and USA.
The Company focuses on niche products / markets and
produces various specialty yarns such as Cotton yarns, Poly / Cotton
yarns, Polyester Spun yarn and fabrics such as flame
retardant yarns, stretch fabrics, wide width fabrics from 100% Giza Egyptian cotton yarns for sheeting, etc.
